[Koi: 1]
Mac Tabilis delivers a visually arresting digital masterpiece where Eastern tradition meets modern abstraction. A sea of ethereal, white koi—ghostlike in appearance—swirls across a mist-like monochrome backdrop. In stark contrast, a single obsidian koi, etched with crimson light, cuts through the chaos, symbolizing individuality, resilience, and the sacred dance between shadow and light. This work transcends the digital medium, capturing the motion and meditative symbolism of traditional Japanese ink wash painting (sumi-e), while integrating the layered flow and rhythm of contemporary algorithmic design. The koi's movement evokes the Zen philosophy of persistence and fluidity, while the high contrast and impeccable detail elevate it beyond decorative art and into the realm of fine digital minimalism.
Why This Is High-End Art: Mac Tabilis channels the spirit of Hokusai’s bold stroke work and the philosophical depth of Georgia O’Keeffe, fusing timeless themes of nature and solitude into a piece that reflects the digital age’s hunger for clarity in complexity. Unlike flat vector compositions or AI-generated texture fillers, this work is intentionally composed—each koi rendered to represent both harmony and disruption. Collectors, curators, and design-forward art buyers will recognize this piece as a convergence of cultural homage, aesthetic rebellion, and technical mastery. It is both meditative and provocative—worthy of gallery walls, NFT collections, or architectural installations.
Perfect For: Fine Art Collectors High-End Interior Designers NFT Art Enthusiasts Art Investment Platforms Zen & Wellness Brand Campaigns luxury-grade acrylic print, transforming this evocative digital composition into a radiant, gallery-worthy statement piece. Printed on ultra-clear, museum-quality acrylic, this piece captures every luminous detail—from the silken swirls of ghostly white koi to the bold, radiant presence of the lone obsidian fish. The acrylic finish magnifies the contrast and depth of the artwork, creating a striking illusion of movement and light as you shift perspective. This high-gloss acrylic print brings dimension, vibrancy, and a modern elegance that paper or canvas cannot match. The koi appear to swim through translucent layers, mimicking the reflective depth of real water. It's not just a print—it’s an experience.

Printify and the Vendor demand the lion share. I can do like most and slap on an equal amount of 135+ profit but I aint gonna do you like that. That's not my style. If there was a better way to do it for the both of us, cheaper but with the print on demand model, I'd do it. The time to create images processing power it takes to render the image I take a loss but, i'm an unkown artist so I gotta play by the rules. After all my large images are created and i'm satisfied with what I see (few days, most times a week, on occassion months) I then run it through a neural filter to take out jpg artifact, basically make it flawless for this style of printing. Takes roughly 1 hour per filter and I do it 5 times. So, I know it's gonna be a while befor i make back $/watt. But, it's all G... I really needed to make this. If it speaks to you, don't hesitate, buy it. It's not china sweatshop art, or temu mass print. This is a digital illustration of actual live beings, all these kois were alive at one point in time. This is spring 2025 piece. I really hope you enjoy it.
